There's something about the real.
The everyday - in all its unscripted beauty that I feel an intense need to capture. The simple things, in our own personal worlds at home, around the corner, in the streets we walk, in the routine. The conversations while washing the dishes, the surprise hug, feeling the sun on your shoulders, reading books in bed - all the smallness that makes up the big beautiful. The moments we do not realize are moments, until Time sneaks up on us to show us it really does fly.

Photographer Meg Coyne stands out against the grain creating relaxed and natural documentary photography sessions that are centered in the desire to capture the essence of our loved ones. She goes into every session with an open mind, open heart - awake to the moment that is still alive within you and freezes it in time forevermore.

Like a fly on the wall - she will breathe her talent into your everyday routine or lack thereof and present you with photobook filled with powerful honest and creative images, little fragments of your own world, and tangible traces to leave behind.

Meg lives in the beach area of Toronto with her boyfriend. She studied Creative Writing and Journalism at Dalhousie University - and although always dabbled in photography, she was drawn to it after the loss of her Nana and hasn't looked back.
